In loving memory of Rodrigo Ernesto “Ernie” Aguilar, a beloved musician and Bellevue Middle School custodian

The killer of beloved musician and custodian of Bellevue Middle School Rodrigo Ernesto “Ernie” Aguilar, 60, is still at large, according to Metro Police.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, according to CCTV footage, Aguilar was seen getting back into his car and unloading it at his Bellevue Road residence.

Officials said that he appeared to detect something off-camera, moved in the direction of the shooting, and passed away there.

Even though they claimed to have found neither a crime scene nor a victim despite having reacted to reports of shots fired in the vicinity shortly after 2 a.m.

Then, at around 7:15 in the morning, Aguilar was discovered laying outside an apartment at the Slate Apartments, which are located in the 7400 block of Highway 70 South, according to authorities.
