Car Used In Drive-by Quadruple Shooting Located By CincinnatiPolice

The car used in the drive-by quadruple shooting on Wednesday evening in Over-the-Rhine has been located by Cincinnati police.

According to a spokesperson from the Cincinnati Police Department, the 2017 black Hyundai Sonata was discovered on Thursday afternoon in the 4900 block of Keen Avenue in Bond Hill.

At the location, a parked and unoccupied car was found.

The process is currently underway. No guns were found in the car by the officers. The discovery of drugs or money has not yet been confirmed.

According to the spokesperson, the department is currently receiving a significant volume of tips regarding the ongoing investigation.

The public is urged to contact the Cincinnati Police Department District One Investigative Unit at 513-352-3505 if they possess any information about the incident.

According to Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge, four individuals, including three juveniles aged 10, 14, and 15, and one man in his 20s, were shot while walking on East McMicken Avenue near Lang Street.

According to police, the man was not believed to have been with the juveniles when the gunfire started.

According to retired Cincinnati police sergeant Dan Hils, in his 35-year career, he has never witnessed anything like it.

According to Hils, it is an incredible blessing that there were not more casualties given the number of bullets that were fired. “With all those bullets sprayed around, it’s amazing that we don’t have four, five or six, seven people dead,” Hils stated.

On Thursday, a youth group hailing from the nearby Wesley Chapel Mission Center took to the streets and walked around the neighborhood.

Sixteen-year-old Zion Baker exclaimed, “Man, this is crazy.” The user stated that their siblings were present at the location. It is uncertain whether they were at this park or the school park, but the situation is unpredictable. According to the speaker, any of their five siblings could have been shot yesterday.

On Thursday, the CPD unveiled footage from surveillance cameras capturing the shooting incident. According to the video footage, a black sedan came to a stop at the intersection and multiple gunshots were fired, causing individuals to flee in search of safety.
