Danielle Davidson Identified As 33 Years Old Mother Victim In Edinburgh; Suspect Identified

A teenager has been arrested by the police in relation to the death of a Scottish mother after an alleged disturbance on a street in Edinburgh.

In the city last night, emergency services responded to a report of a 33-year-old man found on Constitution Street with serious injuries.

Danielle Davidson is the name of the woman.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the death, according to police sources.

At the location, forensic investigators were observed conducting their work. Additionally, a blue tent with white sheets was erected on the tram tracks of the street.

As the street was cordoned off to the public, officers were observed patrolling the area.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to Edinburg Live, they observed five police cars with badges, two unmarked cars, and the presence of medical examiners at the scene.

According to reports, Constitution Street has been taped off and white sheets have been placed on the tram line.

According to a police spokesman in Scotland, a report of a riot on Constitution Street in Edinburgh was received at approximately 7:50 pm on Thursday, May 18th, 2023.

A 33-year-old woman was reportedly transported to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary due to severe injuries. Unfortunately, the woman passed away shortly after her arrival at the hospital.

In connection with the death, authorities have arrested a 16-year-old boy. Investigations are currently being conducted, according to sources.

According to a spokesperson from the Scottish Ambulance, they were contacted on Thursday at 7:54 pm to respond to an incident on Constitution Street in Edinburgh.

According to reports, one ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were dispatched to the scene, with the ambulance arriving within three minutes.
