Jacob David Castillo of Rio Rancho, NM, named as suspect in motorcycle gang shooting in Red River

After a shooting on Saturday at a motorbike rally in Red River, three persons were shot and killed. Additionally, five persons were hurt.

According to the New Mexico State Police, 30-year-old Jacob David Castillo is facing a murder accusation. Castillo is currently receiving medical attention after being shot.

The three victims have also been named by the police as being Anthony Silva, 26, Randy Sanchez, 46, and Damian Breaux, 46.

The shooting allegedly began approximately 5 p.m. in the vicinity of E. Main Street following an altercation between several members of the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. According to the police, all parties engaged in the shooting were Bandidos and Water Dogs members.

When police arrived, they discovered two dead and six injured. However, one of the five injured patients who were taken to the hospital ultimately passed away. A Denver hospital received the sixth injured person who was transported there.

According to police, the shooting started when one gang member in Albuquerque snapped a photo of another group. Red River became the scene of the incident’s spillover, as a brawl broke out and bullets were fired.
