Shooting In Midtown; Sacramento Police Officer Involved in Midtown Shooting

According to the department, a shooting occurred in midtown on Saturday afternoon involving an officer from the Sacramento Police Department.

The intersection of O Street and 28th Street, located just north of Albert Winn Park, has been closed off by the investigation.

As per the police report, there were no injuries sustained by any officers.

According to officials from the Sacramento Fire Department, one individual was transported to a trauma hospital by medics. The individual’s condition remains undisclosed.
