According to an announcement by the Kansas City Kansas Police Department, Lakevis Sloan and a 17-year-old whose name has not been disclosed were apprehended on Tuesday upon disembarking a Greyhound bus in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Two individuals have been charged with second-degree murder for their alleged involvement in the shooting death of Sir’Anthonio Brown on May 3, which occurred in broad daylight. According to reports, Sloan has been charged with aggravated child endangerment.

The third suspect remains at large as police continue their search. The individual’s identity has not yet been revealed. According to a statement by KCKPD Detective Mark Bundy, the investigation into Sir’Antonio’s case is not slowing down, and the police department wants his family and the community to be aware of this.

The authorities have issued a warning, stating that they will arrest anyone who is harboring or protecting the individual responsible for the death of the child. They urge the public not to delay in coming forward with any information that may lead to the perpetrator’s arrest.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting of Sir’Antonio while he was playing with his uncle and 7-year-old cousin remain unclear as it is yet to be determined whether the trio intentionally fired the shots.

A shooting incident has occurred and authorities are currently seeking a 2000s model Subaru Legacy that is believed to be connected to the suspects involved in the crime.

According to police, the suspects had reportedly arrived at the Kansas City neighborhood with the intention of targeting an individual. However, no further information was disclosed by the authorities.

According to Sir’Antonio’s godmother, Shyneisha Hill, the gunmen who shot at the child were likely targeting his uncle. Hill described the uncle as being “in a lot of mess” and stated that he had been sleeping in his truck parked in front of a relative’s home at the time of the incident.

According to her statement, the reason for the conflict is unknown. The individual is attempting to ascertain the severity of the situation. The question posed by the user was, “Was whatever it was so serious that the lives of children were disregarded?”

According to Hill, who was present at the time, a group of three masked gunmen arrived in a vehicle and proceeded to fire several rounds down the street before quickly departing from the scene. The incident occurred in Kansas City. According to her statement, this was not a haphazard shooting from a moving vehicle.

The 2000s model Subaru Legacy wanted in connection with the shooting on Thursday was found by the police and the suspects were apprehended. Last week, 18-year-old Cassandra Sledge, who is alleged to be the owner of the car, was arrested and charged with knowingly lying to police officers.

In a tragic incident, 6-year-old Sir’Antonio, fondly called Sir by his family, passed away while spending time outdoors with his loved ones.

Described as an above-average, cheerful, and athletic child, Sir was known for his caring nature and enjoyed his daily routine of outdoor activities. According to Hill, “These arrests do not alleviate the pain, but they do provide some solace.”
