Franklin, NH mother ‘Nicole Hughes’ and baby daughter cause of death revealed

According to recent reports, autopsies have confirmed that the deaths of a mother and her infant daughter, who were discovered in their Franklin, NH residence on Saturday, were the result of homicide.

According to officials, the father of the infant, who was also the suspect, reportedly shot his family at their Elkins Street residence before taking his own life on the banks of the Merrimack River.

According to investigators, Jamie Bell, aged 42, allegedly killed his partner, Nicole Hughes, aged 35, and their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Ariella Bell. According to reports, a five-year-old girl who is the daughter of Hughes from a previous relationship was shot in the arm.

The young girl was immediately taken to Boston’s Children’s Hospital for medical attention. According to sources, she is expected to survive.

According to a statement from the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, first responders have reported gunshots in the vicinity of 124 Elkins Street at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.

After being identified as a suspect, Bell became the target of a 5-hour manhunt by investigators. However, the search came to a tragic end when Bell’s body was discovered with a self-inflicted cut to his neck.

In Franklin, NH, a person of interest in the ‘suspicious’ deaths was found dead, according to the Attorney General’s office. The office has stated that there is no indication of any other suspects being involved in the fatal shooting. At this time, a motive has not been immediately disclosed.
