After a shooting Sunday night in Shrewsbury Township, a man is dead and a woman is hurt.
The incident took place on the 4000 block of Steltz Road about 5:15 p.m., according to the York County Coroner’s Office. According to authorities, the individual passed away at 7:25 p.m.
According to reports, the woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, where her status is unknown.
Tuesday at 8 a.m., an autopsy is scheduled. Following the autopsy, the reason and manner of death will be disclosed.
According to state police, the Shrewsbury Township shooting suspect has been detained in Maryland. Troopers located Zachary Piccolo, 26, of Nottingham, Maryland, after he had driven away from the crime site.
According to officials, Piccolo was hauled up by Maryland police without any problems.
The victims of the shooting have also been named by authorities as a 38-year-old New Freedom lady and a 23-year-old Shrewsbury man.
Piccolo is accused of aggravated assault, criminal homicide, attempted homicide, and reckless endangerment.
