Murder Suicide Greenville North Carolina: Following the discovery of two bodies inside the residence, Greenville police are conducting an investigation.

The incident happened at 1209 Firetower Road, Apt K (Belle Meade Apartments) on May 25, 2023, about 1:15 p.m.

After hearing about the incident, officers were sent to the scene. When the police came, they discovered the bodies of Michael Anthony Wilkes Jr., 39, and Rani Renee Barnes, 35. Wilkes and Barnes were romantically involved.

Detectives have gathered evidence, and the case is being examined as an apparent murder-suicide while waiting for the findings of an autopsy.
