Alyssa Thorne Identified As Teen Victim in TN High School Overdose Deaths; Identified by Father

According to reports, a father has confirmed that his daughter was one of the teenagers from Fayette County who passed away on Tuesday due to a suspected drug overdose near a school.

A possible drug overdose at a high school in Fayette County has resulted in two fatalities and one individual being hospitalized.

According to Mark Thorne, his daughter Alyssa Thorne is 16 years old.

The identities of a deceased girl and a third student who is currently in critical condition have not yet been disclosed by either the authorities or their families. According to Fayette County Schools, both individuals involved in the incident were 17 years old.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the cause of death for the deceased individuals has not been determined yet and is pending an autopsy. However, the authorities suspect that the deaths may have been caused by an overdose.

According to Thorne, he believes that his daughter’s death was caused by cocaine that was mixed with fentanyl.

According to Thorne, he resides several hours away from the location in question, while Alyssa reportedly resided in a foster home. According to his statement, the two individuals conversed via FaceTime at approximately 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, a group of students was discovered at Fayette Ware High School on Tuesday at approximately 4:40 PM, just a few hours prior to the graduation ceremony.

According to a news release from Fayette County Schools on Wednesday, the students who were involved in the incident were juniors at the high school. According to sources, grief counselors will be made available to both students and staff.

At 5 p.m. on Thursday, a balloon release vigil is scheduled to take place in the rear parking lot of the school.
