Terry M. Rabbers, Man Died after Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Rantoul

The identity of a man who passed away due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Thursday in Champaign County has been released.

At 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, Terry M. Rabbers, aged 58 and hailing from Rantoul, was declared deceased at the Carle Hospital Emergency Department.

A crash occurred in the 600 Block of West Liberty Drive in Rantoul.

A scheduled autopsy will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Champaign County Coroner’s Regional Autopsy Facility located in Urbana, Illinois.

The Champaign Coroner’s Office and the Rantoul Police Department are currently investigating this death. A possible future event is an inquest, which may be scheduled at a later time.
