According to officials, the man suspected of fatally shooting a New Jersey councilwoman outside her home in February has been arrested in Virginia on Tuesday, approximately 300 miles away from the location of the crime.
During a news conference on Tuesday, Middlesex County prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone revealed that 28-year-old Rashid Ali Bynum has been identified as the suspect in the fatal shooting of Eunice Dwumfour.
Dwumfour, a 30-year-old member of the Sayreville Borough Council and a Republican, was shot while sitting in her car.
