Fort Smith Fatal Crash Kills A Child After Been Hit by Vehicle

On Monday, May 22, a traffic incident occurred that resulted in the death of a child. Fort Smith Police (FSPD) are currently responding to the situation.

A child was reportedly hit by a car on private property near the intersection of 3200 Wheeler Ave. in Fort Smith, according to FSPD. According to reports, the child died on the scene.

Residents were advised by FSPD to avoid the area. At present, no further information has been made available. The age and gender of the child have not been disclosed by the authorities.
