In Lancelin over the weekend, a 23-year-old man passed away in a devastating car accident. The victim was identified as an Italian backpacker who had just completed his work on a nearby farm and was en route to his farewell party when the incident occurred.

On Friday night, a collision occurred at the intersection of Indian Ocean Drive and Lancelin Road involving a Mitsubishi Lancer coupe and a Toyota HiLux utility.

Jacopo Martini was seated in the front seat of the Mitsubishi Lancer at the time of the accident.
