Three In Hospital After ‘Serious’ Assault At Blundell’s Private School

A “serious assault” at a school in Devon has resulted in three individuals being transported to the hospital.

According to police, an attack occurred overnight at Tiverton’s Blundell’s private school resulting in multiple serious injuries, including two students.

According to a spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police, a 16-year-old boy has been apprehended on suspicion of three counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

At approximately 1am this morning, law enforcement officials were summoned in response to a severe attack that the educational institution is categorizing as a “singular occurrence.”

According to a letter received, there was a serious incident that occurred in Petergate during the night. The letter stated, “I regret to inform you…” Two boys have been hospitalized with serious injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.

According to the statement made by the authorities, they are confident that the incident was isolated and there is no ongoing threat or concern.

Police are currently investigating an incident and will maintain a presence around Petergate for an undetermined period of time.
