Targeted Shooting at Ohio Engine Facility Leaves 1 Dead and 1 Injured

Late Thursday night, a targeted shooting in Ohio resulted in one fatality and one injury.

According to Moraine Police sergeant and public information officer Andrew Parish, a male suspect carried out a “targeted attack” at an Ohio engine manufacturing facility on Thursday evening at approximately 9 p.m. The suspect shot two victims, resulting in one fatality at the scene of the shooting.

According to reports, dispatchers were alerted to a shooting incident at approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday after receiving multiple calls. A photo related to the incident has been released.

According to Parish, the shooting at WKEF was aimed at a specific employee who has since passed away.

Another individual was also shot and is currently receiving medical attention at a nearby hospital for an injury that is not considered life-threatening.

According to Parish’s statement to reporters on Thursday evening, a male suspect entered the plant and appears to have specifically targeted one male victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to reports, the shooter sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound and is currently receiving medical attention for the injuries.

In a recent development, victims and families affected by the FedEx mass shooting have filed a lawsuit against the gun distributor. According to Parish, the chaos that ensued during the evacuation resulted in a couple of injuries at the shooting scene.
