Missing 4-year-old girl found dead in Charlotte County canal

In breaking news, the lifeless body of 4-year-old Evelyn K Geer has been discovered in a canal located in Charlotte County.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Geer has reportedly gone missing from the vacation home her family has been residing at on Barksdale Street in Port Charlotte.

During a search by boat, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission discovered her body.

Throughout the morning, the aviation and K-9 units of CCSOs have been present at the location conducting an investigation.

According to reports, Cochran Boulevard is currently closed off between Education and Collingwood Boulevard until further notice as authorities conduct their investigation.
