Maine Hotel Fire Victim That Remains Under Investigation Identified

On Monday, officials in Maine announced that they have identified a man who perished in a hotel fire that is currently being investigated.

In Kittery, Maine, a fire that occurred in May resulted in the destruction of the Days Inn, which is situated along the state’s border with New Hampshire. According to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the victim has been identified as Daniel Clarke, a 57-year-old resident of Manassas, Virginia.

According to a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

A large response from surrounding departments was required after a fire broke out, resulting in the building being declared a total loss.
