17 Years Old Victim Injured in Drive-by Shooting in Lakeview

On Sunday evening, a 17-year-old girl was shot while riding in a car in Lake View.

A girl was reportedly shot in the lower back while travelling in a car near the 170 block of North Shore Drive at around 7:00 p.m. The shooter has not been identified, according to police reports.

A 62-year-old bicyclist was reportedly attacked and beaten with a construction sign and their own bike in the South Loop.

In good condition, she was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital.

There is no one in custody and police are investigating.
