According to police reports, Gilberto Puga, a convicted felon from California, has been charged with kidnapping and torturing two women in his residence. Puga reportedly claimed that the women were burglars when questioned by law enforcement officials.
A man named Gilberto Puga, aged 53 and residing in Moreno Valley, has been accused of false imprisonment and torture. He is currently in custody with a bail set at $1 million.
On the morning of May 14, Puga reported to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office that two women had burglarized his residence on the 26000 block of Prairie Dog Lane.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, two females at Puga’s residence made a phone call to the authorities “screaming for help.”
Upon arrival, deputies observed two victims departing from Puga’s residence. According to the sheriff’s office, investigators have concluded that the two females in question were not burglars at Puga’s residence. Instead, they were allegedly held against their will and subjected to torture.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by KTLA 5, the suspect, Puga, reportedly confined two victims to his enclosed patio for over 30 minutes and subjected them to torture using a stun gun. The next day, Puga was arrested.

According to a statement made by Eddie De Leon to the outlet, Puga allegedly approached his 18-year-old daughter outside their home in February of last year.
According to De Leon, who currently holds a restraining order against Puag, he arrived and obstructed their driveway.
According to the witness, the man approached the woman and complimented her appearance. The incident occurred over Valentine’s Day weekend, and the man reportedly offered to take her out on a date if she did not have plans.
According to a neighbor named Sammy, the suspect allegedly made threats to kill her family. He was reportedly threatened by an individual who claimed to be capable of killing him, as well as everyone else in the house. The perpetrator also allegedly threatened to bring in individuals from L.A. to shoot the house.
