29-year-old Shaneikwa Lafavor identified as victim in fatal shooting on East Taylor Street in Augusta, GA

Three victims were shot, and the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking into it.

The event took place, in accordance with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, on East Taylor Street. When deputies got on the site, they discovered three victims: two adults and one child.

The 29-year-old female victim of one of the shootings has passed away. The Richmond County Coroner’s Office has identified her as Shaneikwa Lafavor, a local who lived in the 200 block of East Taylor Street.

She may have resided in the house where she was found shot, but the coroner’s office was unable to confirm this.

The 11-year-old child was taken to the hospital for treatment while the adult male was taken there in critical condition.

The state of the infant is now unknown, according to the authorities.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is withholding any information regarding any suspects who may have been detained in connection with this investigation.
