Victim of south Columbus shooting identified

On Wednesday evening, a shooting on the south side of Columbus resulted in the death of an individual.

According to Columbus police, officers responded to a shooting report in the 1900 block of Lockbourne Road at approximately 8:20 p.m.

A gunshot wound was discovered on an individual who was pronounced dead at the location. On Thursday morning, a man was identified as Adrian Smith, aged 39.

The identity of the woman who lost her life in a Delaware car crash has been revealed.

According to police, a second individual was shot and wounded in the 1600 block of Linwood Avenue at approximately the same time as the Lockbourne shooting incident. It remains unclear whether the shootings are connected.
