Labour Party Disowns Rep-elect ‘Hon. Amobi Ogah For Commending Tinubu

Hon. Amobi Ogah, a member-elect of the Labour Party in the House of Representatives, has been disowned by the party for praising President Bola Tinubu’s intelligence.

Ogah had a meeting with Tinubu in Abuja regarding the 10th National Assembly leadership. After the meeting, he spoke with journalists and expressed that it was his best day.

Oah states that he is happy to be an elected member and is currently watching their president speak. The speaker was previously unaware of the man’s intelligence.

The Labour Party has issued a statement in response to Ogah’s interview on Friday. According to the statement, Ogah’s views on President Tinubu’s leadership are his own and do not represent the party’s position.

The person cannot speak on behalf of the party as an individual and cannot claim to represent the LP while expressing views that contradict the party’s principles.
