Shooting at Woodburn Grocery Store Leaves 1 Dead And Another Injured

According to Woodburn Police, a shooting incident occurred at a grocery store in Woodburn on Sunday resulting in the death of one person and the arrest of another.

At approximately 4 p.m., law enforcement officials were dispatched to Mega Foods located at 1542 Mt. Hood Avenue in response to a shooting incident that had been reported. According to the police, a victim was declared deceased at the location.

According to police, an individual has been taken into custody. They have stated that there is no reason to believe that the public is currently in danger, and no other individuals have been reported as injured or harmed.

According to police, the investigation is currently ongoing and no additional information will be disclosed at this time.
