Missing kayaker, Shane Phillips found dead in Wiscarver Run Reservoir

According to state police, a kayaker, 65, who had been missing since May 18 was discovered deceased on Sunday morning.

After his family reported Shane Phillips missing on May 18 after he failed to come home after going fishing that morning, Shane Phillips was discovered dead in the Wisecarver Run Reserve.

His kayak was in the water, and his truck was at the reservoir unattended.

This morning, when his body was discovered in the sea, investigators were able to match and positively identify him.

Along with Pennsylvania State Police, the event will be investigated by the Greene County Coroner’s Office.
