Homicide detectives have made a public appeal for assistance following the death of a 15-year-old girl from South St. Paul. The teenager was taken to a hospital in the west metro area with a gunshot wound, but unfortunately passed away.
According to the Hennepin County medical examiner’s office, Marleisha Victory Davenport passed away at North Memorial Medical Center on Saturday, shortly before 11 p.m. She had arrived at the hospital an hour earlier.
According to media reports, a woman was shot in the back, allegedly in North Minneapolis.
