A motorcyclist who perished in a collision on May 22 in Minot has had his name made public by the authorities.
After colliding with Timothy Glaser’s automobile, 66, of Lansford, North Dakota, on his motorcycle, 56-year-old Kory Kalamaha of Max, North Dakota, died in the collision.
Around 1 p.m. on Monday, Kalamaha was approaching 40th Avenue Southwest in Minot while moving south on South Broadway, according to a complaint from the Minot Police Department.
According to the complaint, the motorbike struck Glaser’s westbound car as it crossed the southbound lanes while trying to make a turn to the north.
According to the report, Kalamaha was taken to a local hospital where he eventually passed away.
According to authorities, Glaser was given a ticket for running a stop sign and yield sign, and the collision is still under investigation.
