A shooting incident in Hartford on Sunday resulted in the death of one man.
At approximately 11:40 p.m., Hartford police were dispatched to the vicinity of Wawarme Avenue and Locust Street in response to a ShotSpotter alert.
At the scene, police located a man in his twenties suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Hartford Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
A second victim with a gunshot wound was found by the police who arrived at Hartford Hospital around the same time. While he was initially listed in critical, but stable condition, his condition deteriorated over the past few days.
On Wednesday night, he died due to his injuries.
According to reports, the victim has been identified as Jose Angel-Morales, a 30-year-old resident of Hartford.
