Following a single-car collision in Glendale on Thursday night that injured three other people, a 15-year-old kid is now dead. According to the police, the young driver of the vehicle lacked a license.
Just after seven o’clock, a collision occurred near 53rd and Grand avenues. A blue Infiniti G35 was traveling northwest on Grand Avenue when another vehicle turned from the southwest onto 53rd Avenue, according to Glendale police. According to police, the Infinity tried to avoid the other vehicle while traveling faster than the posted speed limit, but instead spun out of control and collided with a curb. Three of the four occupants were thrown out of the automobile when it rolled.
Two 16-year-old girls and the driver, 17, were sent to the hospital right away because of their critical injuries. At the scene, a 15-year-old boy was declared deceased.
According to police, the unlicensed driver displayed no signs of intoxication. Police say all four of the teens are from Glendale, though their identities have not been made public.
