A school in West Tennessee is currently under investigation following the discovery of two deceased students in the parking lot.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, two deceased juveniles were found at Fayette-Ware High School in Somerville on Tuesday. A third juvenile has been found in critical condition and has been taken for medical treatment.
According to Chief Deputy R. Garcia, in an interview given to multiple media outlets, the Sheriff’s Office received notification at approximately 4:40 p.m. and verified that all the students involved were females between the ages of 16 and 17. According to Garcia, the bodies were discovered in the parking lot located at the back of the school.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the incident is currently under investigation as a potential drug overdose.
Just hours before the Fayette-Ware High School’s graduation ceremony, an incident occurred. However, the ceremony proceeded as planned.
