According to the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, a shooting at a nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to two others.
At approximately 1:25 a.m. on Sunday, law enforcement officials were dispatched to Klymax Lounge nightclub located at 4244 Indiana Ave. in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, authorities discovered five individuals who were all believed to be adults and had sustained injuries.
Two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting incident, while three others were transported to a hospital for medical attention. According to reports, one of the victims was transported to the hospital and later succumbed to their injuries.
According to police, two victims were pronounced dead at the scene of the crime. One of the deceased individuals was discovered outside the lounge, while the other victim was located inside the business.
According to Etoyce Fantroy, an employee at the Lounge, one of the victims was her beloved brother who had always been there for her, protected her, watched over her, and made sure to be present for her.
Frantroy expressed concern that the violence and killings are now becoming a local issue.
According to Fantroy, an incident occurred within the lounge premises and subsequently extended onto the adjacent sidewalk.
On Sunday night, the front of the building was still riddled with bullet holes.
Within one minute of the incident, law enforcement officials arrived at the location and are currently conducting a search for the individual responsible.
The individual expressed deep sorrow for the families affected by the situation. Frantroy revealed that he has lost two individuals whom he trusted in his life.
