Prosecutor Ben Nichols Identified As Victim In Friday Clarkston Fatal Motorcycle Crash

The victim of a fatal motorcycle crash in Asotin County on Friday has been identified as Benjamin Nichols, who serves as the Asotin County Prosecuting Attorney and Coroner.

On Friday, a fatal two-vehicle motorcycle crash occurred in Clarkston, resulting in the death of 64-year-old Ben Nichols.

In a recent development, it has been reported that Nichols was riding a motorcycle on Critchfield Road and Swallows Nest Drive in Clarkston Heights-Vineland, when an SUV turned left in front of the motorcycle on Friday.

According to reports, Nichols was taken to a nearby hospital after sustaining injuries from blunt force trauma. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

In the collision, the elderly SUV driver emerged unscathed.

The investigation into the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
