According to reports, the suspect allegedly approached the victim’s vehicle and proceeded to point a black handgun at her. According to reports, the suspect proceeded to repeatedly strike the victim’s vehicle with a handgun, resulting in minor damage.
According to reports, officers made contact with the suspect, identified as Tyesha Bethea, in the vicinity of the 2000 block of Capitol Trail in Newark. According to reports, Tyesha contacted 911 to report the incident. However, she denied using a firearm to threaten the victim or hitting the vehicle with the weapon.
During the incident, law enforcement officials conducted a search of the automobile and initially discovered a vacant holster. A loaded black 9mm handgun was found by officers hidden underneath a child’s car seat.
Tyesha has been charged with multiple offenses and was taken to New Castle County Police Headquarters. The defendant was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and subsequently committed to Delores J Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution after failing to post $88,000.00 cash bail.
