A 16-year-old teenager named Pasawm Lyhym has been taken into custody after a 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in Melbourne. The police are currently searching for multiple knives that are suspected to have been utilized in the assault.
In breaking news, a 17-year-old suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the fatal stabbing of Pasawm Lyhym. The incident occurred near Sunshine bus station in Melbourne’s western region at approximately 3:45 pm on Thursday.
On Friday, the boy from Carolina Springs who was arrested in connection with the attack was taken into custody. As of now, the police are still searching for at least two other individuals who are believed to have been involved in the incident.
According to official sources, the suspect is presently cooperating with the ongoing investigation. On Friday evening, Daily Mail Australia was informed by a spokesperson from Victoria Police.
Earlier today, CCTV footage was released which appears to show an individual holding a knife in the immediate aftermath of a 16-year-old being stabbed in broad daylight. Police are currently investigating a white Audi sedan that was captured on CCTV footage as they search for multiple knives that are believed to have been used by the alleged attackers.
According to reports, a group of teenagers aged 15 to 16 approached Mr. Lyhym at a busy interchange and reportedly assaulted him with a machete. According to reports, a number of commuters, including a relative of Mr. Lyhym, were present during the assault.
According to the Herald Sun, she exclaimed, “That’s him, that’s him!” referring to her cousin. The individual attempted to flee and seek assistance. The individual expressed reluctance to observe. According to the individual, the events occurred rapidly.
According to Mawn Lyhym, the older brother of Pasawm, aged 24, his younger sibling was pursued by at least one assailant while on his way back home. According to the speaker, the individual in question was humorous, amiable, and exhibited a warm and benevolent demeanor.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine if a possible conflict between two local schools could have been the cause of the incident. According to Detective Senior Sergeant Janet Stevenson, the death of Mr. Lyhym could potentially result in retaliatory assaults from other students in the western region of Melbourne.

A vigil was held for the 16-year-old at Chin Baptist Church located in Sunshine’s industrial area. The teenager had aspirations of becoming a carpenter and was surrounded by loved ones during the gathering.
