North Lake Park Shooting Leaves 1 Dead In Car And 1 Injured

Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred in the vicinity of a park. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officials discovered one individual deceased inside a vehicle, while another person sustained injuries.

According to Mansfield Police Chief Keith Porch, a shooting occurred at 1:30 p.m. at North Lake Park, which is situated at 268 Hope Rd.

According to Porch, a car was discovered by the police that had collided into a stone structure near the entrance of the park. The authorities also found a victim lying next to the driver’s side door, while another victim was found deceased inside the car.

According to the police, it appears that both individuals suffered from several gunshot wounds.

According to officials, the victim discovered outside the vehicle was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital.

The current condition of the individual is unknown at this time.
