The identity of a missing woman has been confirmed after a burned body was discovered on Thursday evening.
According to Birmingham Police, Jermiera Ivory Fowler, aged 31, was last spotted on May 31 at approximately 4 p.m. in the 500 block of 41st Street North.
On June 1st at approximately 9 p.m., the charred remains of Fowler were discovered in the Roebuck area’s 1000 block of Sellers Road.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Fowler was found deceased due to gunshot wounds and subsequent burning.
