James Stokes Found dead at Milwaukee tow lot

The victim in question is James Stokes. A Wisconsin teenager’s body was found inside a vehicle that was involved in a horrific collision. The car had been taken from the scene four days prior to the discovery.

A 17-year-old named Stokes from Milwaukee was found dead on Monday morning. The discovery was made on the floor of the back seat of a white Kia that had been wrecked and towed to the municipal tow lot.

According to a statement from the Milwaukee Police Department, a stolen vehicle arrived at a lot on the night of June 1 after crashing into a tree on North 91st Street and West Fond du Lac Avenue.

According to the police, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office is currently determining the cause of death of the 17-year-old. The MPD and the Department of Public Works are conducting an investigation into how Stokes’ body was not detected.

According to attorney William Sulton, stated that the approach is intended to be multi-level to prevent such incidents from occurring. According to the speaker, once vehicles arrive at the tow lot, a different set of rules and responsibilities apply to the officers working there.

According to sources, the vehicle cannot be processed or released until a search has been confirmed. In the past five years, Milwaukee authorities have towed a vehicle with a person still inside for the third time, with the recent discovery of Stokes’ body.

A four-year-old girl was left alone overnight in a tow lot after her mother was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. In 2022, the Milwaukee Fire Department removed a burnt car.

However, several hours later, a lot attendant discovered human remains inside the vehicle. Sultan acted as the legal representative for the family of a 4-year-old child in their settlement with the city, following an incident that occurred in 2018.

In an interview with CBS 58, he stated that the recent discovery indicates a lack of concern, suggesting that this attitude persists.
