Poppy Crozier will be remembered as “the most beautiful girl.”
On Friday, May 26, at around 6.45 p.m., emergency services were summoned to a significant collision on the Dukes Highway in Ki Ki. A truck and two automobiles collided.
Poppy Crozier, a 19-year-old woman from Keith who was the only person in a Mazda station wagon, tragically her away at the site.
The Holden ute’s 18-year-old Murray Bridge driver was rushed to the Murray Bridge hospital with severe but non-life-threatening wounds.
The Burton truck driver, a 35-year-old man, was unharmed.
Major Crash investigators responded to the area and are looking into the collision’s circumstances.
While workers clear the area, the Dukes Highway remains closed to all traffic between Tailem Bend and Coonalpyn; however, it is anticipated to reopen later this morning.
