While on vacation with his son in Scotland, a police officer passed away.
Pc Shazad Saddique, a 38-year-old father of three who worked for the Greater Manchester Police (GMP), passed away unexpectedly on Friday while taking his 13-year-old son to the Fairy Pools.
Their fourth child is due soon, according to his wife. It has been verified by Police Scotland that no suspicious circumstances are thought to exist.
Pc Saddique, a student officer located in the Tameside District, joined GMP one year ago.
GMP stated that he loved giving back to his community and developed strong bonds with many of his coworkers, who praised him as an exceptional person and role model.
The officer was highly involved in outreach work with teenagers in the neighborhood outside of work, with a focus on helping youths to experience outdoor activities in the countryside. The officer enjoyed hiking and trekking.
