Greenville, South Carolina Man, Charles Byrd Shot to Dead, Suspect Arrested

Charles Byrd Death: Charles Byrd, a graduate of Greenville Technical College, has unexpectedly died away. He was shot in Pickens County on Thursday, May 25 and passed away as a result.

A 20-year-old male has reportedly been charged with murder after allegedly shooting and killing his stepfather in the state of South Carolina, according to information provided by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

The gunshot that was fired on Thursday night apparently occurred on Jericho Ridge Trail in Easley.

Investigations are still ongoing.
