Davis, 14, Identified as Victim in Fatal Minneapolis Shooting

According to reports, a man identified as Davis was discovered with gunshot wounds in an alley located in the vicinity of the 3700 block of Bryant Ave. N. at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 29th.

At the scene, law enforcement officials arrived and discovered the male juvenile victim suffering from several gunshot injuries, including one to the head.

Davis received CPR from officers at the location and was later taken to North Memorial hospital in Robbinsdale. Unfortunately, he was declared dead within an hour of arriving at the hospital.

According to law enforcement radio dispatches reviewed by MN CRIME, the suspect in the shooting has not been officially identified by the police. However, it is believed that the suspect is a juvenile black male who is approximately 15 years old.

He was reportedly wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and a black skullcap hat at the time of the incident. After the gunfire, the suspect was seen fleeing from the area.

As of Tuesday evening, no arrests have been announced in connection with the fatal shooting.

According to the medical examiner, Davis’ cause of death was determined to be homicide resulting from multiple gunshot wounds.
