A 15-year-old California resident named Amari Quarles is being recognized as a hero for his brave actions. Quarles tragically lost his life while trying to rescue his younger sibling from drowning.

According to KCRA 3, Mr. Amari passed away on Sunday while visiting Sand Cove Park in Sacramento. As reported, Amari rushed into the water to aid his 13-year-old brother, Elijah, who was struggling with a football.
