76-Year-Old Man Identified As Victim Of Fatal Crash Involving A Pedestrian In Fitchburg

A fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on Friday night is currently under investigation by authorities.

At approximately 8:45 p.m., a crash took place in the vicinity of Water and Nichols Street.

A 76-year-old man was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity has been confirmed.

The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene following the collision.
