Zocimo Dela Cruz, Identified As Man Involved In An Alleged Hit-And-Run Incident Along The Candelaria Bypass Road

On Sunday, an alleged hit-and-run incident occurred along the Candelaria Bypass Road in Barangay Pahinga Norte, Candelaria, Quezon, resulting in the death of a man.

Zocimo Dela Cruz, a 57-year-old welder, farmer, and resident of Barangay Paiisa in Tiaong, Quezon, has been identified as the victim.

As per the police report, a motorcyclist who was traveling in the northbound direction was struck by an unidentified driver’s vehicle while crossing the road.

According to reports, the victim suffered fatal injuries to multiple parts of their body and was pronounced dead at the scene. The body has since been transferred to a funeral parlor where it awaits a post-mortem examination.
