Zane Roe Identified As Victim killed in Warren County house fire

In Warren County on Tuesday morning, a 2-alarm house fire resulted in one fatality and one person receiving on-scene treatment.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., an incident occurred at a residence located in the 2400 block of SR 48 in Turtlecreek Township. Located approximately one mile away from Lebanon Junior High School.

On Wednesday, the victim was identified as Zane Roe, a 93-year-old individual.

A one-year-old child was discovered with a bag in hand and white residue around the nose after going into cardiac arrest.

According to Turtlecreek Township Assistant Fire Chief Brian Elleman, emergency crews arrived at the scene within five or six minutes of receiving the report of the fire.

According to reports, one individual was inside the house while another attempted to rescue them, resulting in the latter suffering from smoke inhalation.
