Danielle, the daughter of actor Yul Edochie, has spoken out about the unfortunate death of her brother Kambilichukwu.
The first son of well-known Nollywood actor Yul and his first wife, May, Kambilichukwu Edochie, passed away on Thursday, March 30 after having an epileptic fit while playing football with his classmates.
Yul and May, the heartbroken parents, as well as their daughter Danielle, have been silent on social media since the catastrophe.
However, Danielle Edochie published her first social media message since the horrific event on Sunday, April 9.
She urged viewers to subscribe on her Instagram story while posting a screenshot of her YouTube channel.
Several days ago, seasoned actor Pete Edochie expressed his sorrow over the passing of his grandson, Kambilichukwu Leo Yul-Edochie, who passed away at the age of 16.
Pete Edochie responded to the tragic news in a conversation with Vanguard and characterised Kambilichukwu as an exceptional, smart boy who did well in everything.
The grandfather expressed regret over his grandson’s passing, noting that he had displayed a lot of promise.
“Kambilinachukwu is a very quiet, brilliant and talented child. He’s not somebody you can ride easily. He doesn’t get angry no matter the situation.
He may change his composure, but he was definitely a very unusual person in so many respects.
“He was so accomplished. I always tell my son that I don’t like people excelling like this in any thing they are involved in. Experience has taught me that such people don’t last long.” He said.
