Woman shot dead at an Etobicoke condo on Wednesday now identified as Viyaleta Lukoshka; Kadeem Robinson arrest & charges

The identify of the 23-year-old woman who was discovered dead in an Etobicoke condo early on Wednesday has finally been made public by homicide investigators.

Around 4:30 in the morning, according to Toronto Police, Viyaleta Lukoshka was discovered shot to death in a highrise at 251 Manitoba St., close to Park Lawn Rd. and the Gardiner Expressway.

Residents allegedly heard a violent altercation followed by a loud bang, according to investigators. The security team of the building looked into it and found Lukoshka battling for her life.

Despite the brave attempts of the first responders to save her life, Lukoshka was declared dead at the spot.

A man was observed leaving the structure. A short while afterwards, a suspect was captured.

Police claim that the accused and victim are acquainted, but they would not elaborate on their relationship.

The second-degree murder charge against Kadeem Robinson, 34, relates to the shooting death of Lukoshka.
