Yvonne Nelson, a veteran Ghanaian actress, has stated why Jackie Appiah is not in her latest film.
The Screen Goddess is now on a media tour in support of her next film “Fifty-Fifty.”
She was asked why actress Jackie Appiah was not in any of the films she produced during an interview with media personality Nana Romeo on Accra FM.
Yvonne claims that her idea to include Jackie in her upcoming film ‘Fix Us’ never materialised.
When the actress reached out to Jackie, she said she had other plans and declined her offer.
Yvonne, on the other hand, was keen to point out that she was fine with Jackie’s decision.
“I guess this was the case for her, but I don’t remember,” she said. “I believe I communicated with her via WhatsApp text messaging, but if you ask me, she declined.”
“I reached out to Jackie when I was ready to shoot ‘Fix Us’ because I wanted to make Yvonne Okoro, myself, and Jackie Appiah the major protagonists.” “Fifty-Fifty” was made at the same time as this film. I gave her enough time, but as a producer, you can’t just sit around.
“I told her over the phone, and she said she’d be on set around the same time, but I have no idea what occurred.” She continued, “I believe she had other intentions.”
