Travelers who were purportedly their route to attend the funeral of the late gospel artist Osinachi Nwachukwu narrowly avoided being abducted.
Their journey was reportedly cut short when armed men stormed Umuaku Road in Abia State during the day.
A commuter captured the scene as buses and private automobiles all halted at the side of the road to assess the amount of risk before continuing.
The alleged kidnappers allegedly wanted to stop today’s funeral for Osinachi, according to the eye witness.
On June 25, 2022, the late gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu’s remains will be interred in Abia State.
On Thursday, a night of worship was held in Abuja, while on June 24, a night of prayer was held in Isochi, Umunochi in the Abia state.
The funeral will be held at her father’s property in Isuochi.
