Anthony Slough, 59, has been named as the victim of a deadly home fire in Glen Burnie.
On May 5, at 6:04 a.m., firefighters were called to 410 Summit Avenue when a bystander reported seeing the home engulfed in flames and smoke.
35 firefighters responded to the emergency, and they were able to put out the fire in 20 minutes after they arrived.
Firefighters found the Slough’s body inside the building. His demise came as a result of burn injuries, according to an autopsy report.
The second fire fatality in Anne Arundel County this year occurred in this heartbreaking tragedy.
Authorities are still looking into the fire. According to officials, the home was missing smoke detectors.
